Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia had a short stint on the court during Tuesday's Game 2, playing only seven minutes before departing early in the first half with a right heel contusion, according to Connor LeTourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

The big man is scheduled for an MRI on his injured foot today and could have a full three days to recuperate before the series shifts to San Antonio‘s AT&T Center on Saturday night.

Pachulia had a mixed bag of contributions, scoring four points, grabbing two boards, and dishing out one assist before departing with the injury. He was the only starter not to score in double figures during a 136-100 rout of the Spurs.

Matt Barnes replaced him in the second half, as the Warriors' small unit made quick work of a deflated San Antonio team that just lacked the fight for the better part of three quarters, with the exception of an inspired Jonathon Simmons, who led the way with 22 points.

The most awaited return isn't so much the Georgian international, but Andre Iguodala, who sat out Game 2 with left knee soreness, which he's been dealing with since the start of the series.

The Warriors sixth man has a history of back and knee injuries through his career and will be needed in tip-top shape if the team hopes to make yet another run for the title.
