The internet absolutely lost it when Jake Paul just obliterated MMA star Ben Askren on Saturday night. The YouTube star knocked out the UFC Welterweight in the very first round of their fight. Of course, the memes on Twitter instantly broke out as soon as Askren hit the canvas. The referee called off the fight shortly after.

Some people felt like the hype on the fight wasn't worth it considering how it ended.

Others clowned Paul for celebrating like he's the GOAT after dropping non-boxers in his three professional fights.

The MMA world probably wasn't too pleased to see one of their own go down like that against a YouTuber. UFC President Dana White placed an informal bet with Jake Paul on the fight. White is probably sweating buckets right now as he may need to issue a million dollar check to Saturday night's winner.

Meanwhile, some believed that Askren sold the fight and was just in there for the bag.

Make it stop. There's just too many of hilarious ones out there.

The conspiracy theorists out there who suggested the fight was fixed may have a point here. Paul certainly rocked Askren with that one-two combination. However, it's hard to believe that one punch actually stopped a world-class MMA fighter like Askren. It definitely seemed like the former Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight champion was ready to go before the referee issued the stoppage.

Barstool Sports even pointed out how Askren can take these barrage of punches in MMA, yet dropped with just one punch from Paul.

Well, whatever the case may be, at least Twitter had a field day with this Jake Paul – Ben Askren fight for the rest of the evening.
