Things are just starting to get interesting in the NFL regular season as a few teams sit at a perfect 3-0 while others will now begin attempting to rebound from winless 0-3 starts — in addition to everything in the middle as well. Along with that, plenty of fantasy football decisions are starting to matter just a little bit more.

For fantasy football managers, it is incredibly difficult to bounce back from a winless start after three weeks while even a single win through three weeks is a tall task. On the other hand, 2-1 and 3-0 teams are off to tremendous starts that could ultimately lead to major pay days come season's end.

However, it is very important to keep the train rolling and keep your foot on the gas as letting up is the only way to let those winless and one-win teams bounce back. For that reason, picking the right quarterback in Week 4 will be crucial for every fantasy football manager, just for different reasons.

Here's the start 'em and sit 'em fantasy football list for quarterbacks in Week 4.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Quarterbacks Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

Start ‘Em

Ryan Tannehill – Tennessee Titans (vs. Jets)

After a rocky start against the Arizona Cardinals back in Week 1, the Tennessee Titans have righted the ship with back-to-back wins against the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts. Although Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been turning the football over a bit more than he would like, it is quite clear from watching this team that most of these turnovers have not been his fault. Outside of the fumbles and interceptions early on, Tannehill has been great with both his arm and legs this season.

A matchup against the New York Jets should continue such a trend in Week 4.

It is also worth noting that Tannehill and former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones are starting to build a serious rapport alongside the fact that the veteran signal caller ran for a single-game career-high 58 yards against the Colts in Week 3. The time is now for Tannehill and the Titans offense, especially with the dismal Jets up next. Put him in your fantasy football lineups.

Baker Mayfield – Cleveland Browns (at Vikings)

The Cleveland Browns are a team that likes to score a lot of points thanks to the their well-rounded offensive attack. The Minnesota Vikings have already allowed a total of 78 points this season. Even in the absence of Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry, look for the Browns to score a ton of points in Week 4 against the 1-2 Vikings as this one should prove to be a shootout one way or another. With quarterback Baker Mayfield recently getting back another Pro Bowl wide out in Odell Beckham Jr. to fill the void left by the injured Landry, the Browns should put up some gaudy numbers this time around.

Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams (vs. Cardinals)

In case you've been hiding under a rock for the last month or so, the Los Angeles Rams are a very good football team, which is mostly due to the play of former Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.

In his first ever season outside of the “Motor City,” Stafford has been tearing up the opposition, with the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers finding out about the new look Rams the hard way in Week 3.

With the rival Arizona Cardinals up next for Stafford and the Rams, look for this NFC West clash to be a back-and-forth affair with lots of points. Although the Cardinals can score with the best of teams just like the Rams, Arizona has the ability to give up quite a few points as well — something Stafford should be able to take advantage of. Put Stafford in your fantasy football lineup.

Sit 'em

Joe Burrow – Cincinnati Bengals (vs. Jaguars)

Even with the Jacksonville Jaguars serving as one of the worst teams in the entire NFL, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow should be on your bench this week. With Thursday Night Football typically producing some odd games with some even strangers outcomes, even the stellar play of Burrow won't be able to withstand such a notion. Not only that, but the Jaguars tend to get blown out by the time the fourth quarter eventually rolls around, which means plenty of garbage time points for Jacksonville and all of the Bengals starters on the sideline. There is no need to go anywhere near this game.

Derek Carr – Las Vegas Raiders (at Chargers)

The Las Vegas Raiders are a perfect 3-0 to start the season with quarterback Derek Carr serving as one of the early frontrunners for the NFL MVP award. However, Carr is currently dealing with an injured ankle as the Raiders barely got by a severely hampered Miami Dolphins team at home in Week 3.

A difficult opponent in the Los Angeles Chargers, fresh off a win over the two-time defending AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs on the road, could prove to be quite the challenge for Carr and company in Week 4. With the game in primetime and the Raiders hitting the road with a hobbled Carr, the veteran signal caller matched up against a stout Los Angeles defense just isn't worth the risk as the reward is slim at best here. The Raiders are due for a loss as the Chargers continue to surge while a stinker from Carr seems pretty imminent at this point.

Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys (vs. Panthers)

The Dallas Cowboys dominated their arch rival Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3. However, this was mostly the result of some incredibly poor play from the Eagles as the Cowboys didn't look all that impressive given the final score.

With that in mind, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had less than 10 fantasy points heading into the fourth quarter as the veteran signal caller was pretty close to stringing together one of the worst fantasy performances for a big named quarterback in 2021-22. With Prescott and company now slated to take on the undefeated Carolina Panthers, who possess an absolutely outstanding defense, there is just no need to roll the dice with this matchup. Put Prescott on your fantasy football bench.
