The Tennessee Titans enter 2021 training camp with one of the best rosters in the league. They're the favorite to win the AFC South and hope to make a deep run in the playoffs after underperforming in the postseason. With Julio Jones on the offense and a revamped defense, the Titans look to be an extremely dangerous team this year.

There are a ton of new faces, especially on the defensive side of the ball. For that reason, we should see some guys who played last year receive the ax in training camp. The coaching staff will likely run with some of the new talents on the roster, as Tennessee is looking for the best possible lineup they can have.

Eventually, the Titans will dwindle their roster size down to 53 players, so cuts will be coming in August. However, a handful of players are likely to lose their spot on the team sooner, rather than later. With that said, here are three cut candidates on the Titans roster bubble entering training camp.

Jeremy McNichols

Jeremy McNichols actually played rather well when his number was called upon last year. The backfield still belongs to Derrick Henry, but the front office has beefed up the backup running back role this offseason. McNichols will have to have an impressive camp to maintain a spot on the final roster.

The front office brought in veteran running back Brian Hill who had a decent year himself for the Atlanta Falcons. Additionally, the Titans are hopeful that Darrynton Evans will remain healthy this year. If Evans can do that, the immediate backup role belongs to him.

Logan Woodside

Logan Woodside has been able to maintain the backup role the last couple of years now, but this year he may lose it. The front office brought in Deshone Kizer who has looked impressive during OTAs. Tennessee typically only keeps two quarterbacks on its roster, which means we have a quarterback battle in Tennessee for the backup role.

We'll see how it plays out, as Woodside has the advantage over Kizer due to the fact he's been on the team longer. However, Kizer has been solid during his time with the Titans and might persuade the coaching staff to choose him over Woodside. Keep an eye on how this position battle plays out, as the winner will be the Titans' backup quarterback.

Chris Jackson

The Titans made a ton of changes to the cornerback position this offseason. There are a ton of new faces joining the team, as the front office cut Malcolm Butler and Adoree' Jackson. Tennessee brought in veteran Janoris Jenkins, who will have a key role this coming season. They also added Caleb Farley and Elijah Molden through the NFL Draft, and the team is hopeful Kristian Fulton stays healthy this year to make an impact for the team.

Those four make up the main core of the cornerback room. We'll see how many cornerbacks the Titans keep on the roster, but it appears Chris Jackson is on the outside looking in. He has some stiff competition as Breon Borders looked good enough last year to earn the fifth or sixth cornerback spot on the team.
