Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane has reflected on the toughest defenders he has faced in his illustrious career, highlighting Chelsea legend John Terry and Italian stalwart Giorgio Chiellini, reported by GOAL. Kane, who recently made a move to Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur, shared insights on the challenging opponents he encountered during his football journey.

In an interview with ESPN, Kane acknowledged John Terry's defensive prowess, describing him as “really smart” and “intelligent.” Terry, a Chelsea legend, is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Premier League history, leaving a lasting impact on the game.

Kane also singled out Giorgio Chiellini, whom he faced during Euro 2020 and against Juventus. Chiellini, currently with LAFC, earned praise from Kane for being tough to play against, emphasizing his intelligence, strength, and aerial ability.

Speaking on the toughest defenders, Kane stated, “I faced John Terry early in my career, and I thought he was the reason he is one of the best defenders in the world. Really smart, really intelligent. And then, Chiellini, you know, against Italy, against Juve. He was really tough to play against, again really smart, used his body well, strong, good in the air, so, I'll probably go with them two.”
