After initially listing his six-bedroom mansion in Chicago's North Shore suburb of Glencoe for $5 million last Thursday, Chicago Bears outside linebacker Khalil Mack officially sold his property for $3.9 million on Monday.

The mansion was built back in 2017, after which, was bought for $3.75 million the following year. According to the Chicago Tribune, the half-acre property that is owned by the Bears star, features six full bathrooms, three half-baths, four fireplaces, a custom-built walnut library, an enclosed screened porch with a hot tub, a slate roof, copper gutters, and a lower level with a wine cellar, a yoga studio, a media room, and an exercise room.

Mack previously tried to sell off the property at $4.4 million, but last Thursday, he had increased the listing price to $5 million. The higher price point can be attributed to the fact that the Bears linebacker made improvements to the property through aesthetics and security. However, he had to settle for less by accepting an offer at $3.9 million after numerous agents laughed at the aggressive $5 million price point.

Via Chicago Tribune:

“The home presented itself as if it were new construction,” listing agent Michael LaFido of eXp Realty told Elite Street. “We produced a ton of interest and traffic. We had many agents laugh at the price and they said we would never sell for more than he paid.”

Nevertheless, Mack still made some profit from his initial purchase. But in case you were wondering, the Bears star now owns a three-bedroom condominium on the Gold Coast with a $6.85 million price tag.
