The Chicago Bears attempted to play spoiler against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday by getting a win and knocking them out of the playoffs in the NFC, but ultimately the Packers came out with a 17-9 win, and Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said that he felt his pass rush did not make enough of an impact on the game during his postgame press conference.

“I felt their pass rush but I didn't feel ours,” Matt Eberflus said, via Courtney Cronin of ESPN. “We pressured some, we did some of those things… hats off to the defensive guys. They've done a really good job of coming together, played some really good, solid football during the course of these last eight weeks and we didn't play our best today.”

Despite what Eberflus thought was not the unit's best performance, the Bears defense did limit the Packers to 17 points, and the offense did not have a good game, putting up just nine in what was a winnable game.

The Bears finish the season with a 7-10 record, a disappointing finish when taking into account the expectations the team and fanbase had coming into the season.

The big question that looms is whether or not the Bears will retain Justin Fields this season. The team holds the No. 1 pick from the trade with the Carolina Panthers last offseason. Chicago could take someone like Caleb Williams and start fresh at the quarterback position, or stay with Justin Fields, who played better as the season went along, but is no certainty to be a franchise quarterback.
