The Week 17 showdown between the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field carries no playoff implications, with both teams emptying all their chances to make the postseason. But there are still significant decisions to be made for Matt Nagy, particularly on which quarterback will his team be starting on Sunday.
Both Justin Fields and Andy Dalton were unavailable to play in Week 16 due to injuries, but third-stringer Nick Foles got the job done by leading the Bears to a come-from-behind 25-24 road win over the Seattle Seahawks. As for the outlook for Fields and Dalton in the upcoming meeting with the Giants, Nagy is still in the process of weighing their health statuses.

“We’ll see how much capacity for each as we get out there,” coach Matt Nagy said. “They are still both working through where they’re at. Health will always dictate where they’re at and how they go. So we’ll monitor that. They are both improving, which is good. And then it’s also nice having Nick (Foles) who’s fully healthy after the game as well.”
The Bears are just 5-10 after 16 weeks of football but would love to give their fans a win to celebrate in the team's final home game of the season and the first in 2022.
