The peculiar situation involving Mackensie Alexander of the Cincinnati Bengals' father received some positive news on Thursday. After conducting a thorough search for him in recent days, Alexander's missing father was found, per multiple sources.

Earlier this week on Tuesday, it was reported that Alexander was leaving Cincinnati's training camp due to a family emergency. The emergency involved his father, who was discovered to be missing after going berry picking at a prairie in Okeechobee County. His father was accompanied by another man but was left behind at the prairie by himself.

While the sheriff's office in Okeechobee County began an investigation, Alexander attempted to take matters into his own hands. The former cornerback of the Minnesota Vikings was arrested for battery on Wednesday. It was revealed he had assaulted the man that oddly left his father behind on the berry-picking trip.

At the least, the good news is that they were able to find his father after tirelessly searching for him. On the other hand, it remains to be seen if the Bengals warrant any punishment for Alexander due to his arrest. In addition to that, it's also uncertain when Alexander will return to the team.

Regardless of what transpires, Mackensie Alexander is expected to be a crucial member of Cincinnati's defense this season. The Bengals signed Alexander to a one-year, $4 million deal in hopes he could start alongside Trae Waynes, who also came from the Vikings. Though, Waynes is set to miss a majority of the 2020 campaign due to a pectoral injury he suffered in training camp.

Even though his status with the Bengals is unclear, at least Alexander's father seems to be healthy and safe despite being missing for days.
