The Mets are 12th in the majors in runs scored this year while sitting 12th in batting average, tenth in base percentage, and 12th in slugging. Pete Alonso continues to be great this year. He is hitting .243 on the year with a .321 on-base percentage. Alsonso has 16 home runs and 42 RBIs while scoring 42 times this year. Brando Nimmo is also having a wonderful year. He is hitting .240 with a .255 on-base percentage. He has nine home runs and 40 RBIs while scoring 42 times. Leading the team in runs scored is Francisco Lindor. He is hitting .238 but with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 46 runs scored. Rounding out the top bats on the year is Starling Marte, who leads the team with a .279 average while driving in 29 runs and scoring 36 times.
Pete Alonso is also on fire at the plate. He is hitting .310 in the last week, with two home runs and ten RBIs. Alonsop has also scored four times in seven games. JD Martinez is also coming into the game hot. He is hitting .391 in the last week with three home runs, eight RBIs and five runs scored. Brandon Nimmo is also hot at the dish. Ian Happ has been on fire in the last week. He is hitting .500 in the last week with three home runs and eight RBIs. He has also scored six times. Michael Busch is hitting .400 in the last week. He has a home run and three RBIs while scoring four times in the last week.
Current members of the Cubs have 80 career at-bats against Jose Quintana. They have hit .275 against Quintana with four RBIs.
