It is game two of an interleague series as the San Diego Padres visit the Los Angeles Angels. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Padres-Angels prediction and pick.
The Padres come into the series sitting at 32-30 on the year, which placed them second in the NL West. They have won five of their last seven games, and just took two of three from the Royals. The Angels are 21-38 on the year, which placed them in last in the AL West. They have lost five straight and eight of the last nine games overall.
The two will face in the first game of their series on Monday night. Matt Waldron will be on the hill for the Padres. He is 3-5 with a 4.26 ERA. Tyler Anderson will be on the mound for the Angels. He is 5-5 with a 2.47 ERA.

The offense has not been good this year and continues to struggle. Further, the Padres will be able to give Adam Mazur plenty of run support facing Patrick Sandoval.
