With the 2022 NFL free agency right around the corner, teams across the league are making key decisions to construct their rosters. As for the Buffalo Bills, the front office made an interesting decision with free agency quickly approaching. However, it's unclear what this means for star quarterback Josh Allen.

According to Mike Garafolo, the Bills have decided to release starting offensive tackle, Daryl Williams. He played a key role as a starter for this franchise and is now set to enter the free agency pool. Williams was in line to receive $8.125 million this season, so Buffalo made the choice to save some cap space instead.

Even so, it sounds like Daryl Williams could still return to the team. This could turn into a brilliant move by the Bills if they re-sign Williams on a cheaper deal. However, that's not the only move the front office made on Monday, as Buffalo also gave starting center Mitch Morse a two-year extension, per Mike Garafolo.

Although the Bills are risking losing their starting offensive tackle, the front office locks up the center for two more years.

This is shaping up to be a fun offseason for the Bills. If the front office can improve the offensive line, there is no telling how far this team can go. Furthermore, there is the exciting aspect of the franchise potentially adding more talent in the wide receiver room. If that's the case, the rest of the league will be put on notice as Josh Allen will continue lighting up the field every Sunday.

There is some concern on whether or not Daryl Williams re-signs with the Bills. It's a risky move for Buffalo to allow him to enter free agency, as an opposing franchise could outbid them for Williams. On the other hand, Josh Allen should feel happy about Mitch Morse's return, as the two will continue working together next season.
