Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is not taking any smack talk lightly.

Following his massive supermax extension with the Blazers — four years worth $196 million — not everybody is quite happy that the All-Star guard and rapper is getting paid.

ā€œSecond round exists for the next 4 years confirmed!ā€ a bitter Twitter user wrote in reply to Lillard.

Dame D.O.L.L.A., however, responded in brutal fashion:

ā€œWhat yo next 4 look like?ā€ Lillard asked in a quote-tweet, referencing the disparity in attention and spotlight between the professional athlete and relatively unknown Twitter user.

Lillard and the Blazers have been criticized for under-performing during the NBA postseason. Nevertheless, Lillard led Portland to the Western Conference Finals last season before going down to the Golden State Warriors.

Portland made a flurry of moves during the dawn of free agency, re-signing wing Rodney Hood and agreeing to a deal with former top-five pick Mario Hezonja. The Blazers also acquired rebounding and blocking expert center Hassan Whiteside from the Miami Heat in exchange for forward Maurice Harkless and big man Meyers Leonard.

Harkless is heading to the Los Angeles Clippers in a four-team deal with Miami, LA, Portland, and Philadelphia in the Jimmy Butler sign-and-trade.

The Blazers lose out on Seth Curry, as the shooting guard signed a four-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Lillard, who turns 29 on July 15th, has been the heart and soul of the Blazers during his tenure in the City of Roses, so keeping him long-term is only the logical move for Portland.
