Tyson Fury is gearing up for one of the biggest crossover boxing events to ever happen in the history of combat sports. He getting ready to take on who some call ‘The Baddest Man' on the planet Francis Ngannou in a highly anticipated boxing event this Saturday on ESPN + PPV.

Ahead of this exciting matchup, Fury talked with iFL TV. They asked him about his announcing his upcoming fight against Oleksandr Usyk to become the undisputed heavyweight king and why this fight has been made now. Tyson Fury responded hitting Usyk with a harsh reality.

“They know they can’t fight anybody else and get what they can get fighting me. That’s why it was easy, they got knocked off their pedestal and realized they’ve got nowhere else to go to make money.”

When Usyk fought Daniel Dubois earlier this year, he walked away with an estimated $6 Million. To put that in perspective, Fury's last opponent Derek Chisora made roughly $8 Million who is far less of a commodity than Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury knows that fighting him is the money fight and he let this fight come to him knowing that Usyk must fight him if he wants to make anything. This fight will also be for it all, this fight will claim who the heavyweight king is and who is the best heavyweight boxer on the planet. Both Fury and Usyk believe they are the best and on December 23rd they get to prove that to the whole world.
