Another day, another history for Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr.

As he continues to solidify his case for NL MVP, Acuna reached another milestone on Friday as he helped the Braves destroy the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-2 at home in Truist Park. Acuna hit his 35th  homer of the season, paving the way for him to become the fifth player in MLB history to have at least 35 home runs and 35 stolen bases in multiple campaigns, per ESPN Stats & Info.

The Braves superstar joined the likes of Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonds, Willie Mays and Alfonso Soriano as the only other players to do it. Soriano owns the record for the most seasons with such record with three.

It will be interesting to see if Ronald Acuna Jr. will be able to maintain his hot streak. He recently talked about potentially joining the 40HR-40SB club, which is currently composed of Bonds, Soriano, Jose Canseco and Alex Rodriguez. The Braves outfielder pointed out that it really isn't his goal, but he's not denying that it would be nice to also make it to the elite group.

“Everything is possible. [40-40] was never the goal. But now that it's within sight, it would be nice. But with the season being at the end and the numbers being where they are, it feels like we’re getting tight and running out of time,” Acuna shared.

With 35 home runs and a league-leading 63 stolen bases to his name (at the time of writing), it's not hard to see Acuna reaching the feat sooner rather than later.
