When Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris was entering the National Football League out of college, not a soul scouting football players believed him to be a great prospect. Despite that, he's turned out to be one of the better players at his position for his generation.

That has also likely resulted in a giant chip being placed on his shoulder. It is why it shouldn't come as a shock to anyone following the Broncos that Chris Harris would believe insane levels of effort can help overcome perceived lack of inabilities.

“You practice how you play. I still believe that,” Harris said, via The Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala. “These young guys, they’re not as hungry as I was. I hope to see that. I mean, that’s what we need. We need some guys that are hungry like I was. I think I was just very determined, on a whole other level, just to play in this league.”

I doubt there are many players who worked as hard at being good at football as Harris.

Undrafted (un-bleeping-drafted) coming out of Rutgers, he's somehow managed to overcome whatever presumed inabilities he had as a player and become a four-time Pro Bowler and a wonderful talent.

Take what you want from his belief that some of his younger teammates don't want it enough, but I'm basically just here to celebrate Chris Harris. He's awesome.
