The Denver Broncos picked up their first home win of the Sean Payton tenure, beating the Green Bay Packers by the score of 19-17, and Payton had a funny story about what he did after the game.

“That was a good win for us and yet I'm driving home last night, heading to get sushi – I don't like sushi – and finding myself circling around the parking lot, ‘Why can't I be happy?'” Sean Payton said, via Mike Klis of 9NEWS. “Well you're searching for that perfect game. I'm just that way.”

Payton is clearly wired to want more, even when his team has a good day. It was not a pretty win for the Broncos against the Packers, and there is a lot that needs to be improved to add more wins this season. It appears Payton is not a fan of sushi, but it is safe to assume he would eat it often if it meant that the Broncos keep winning games. He opened up about why him and his family got sushi, despite him not liking it.

“I'm a good team player here,” Payton said, via Klis. “My wife likes it, my kids like it. Everyone in the party likes it. So I'm a team player. The nice thing is it was the first time we were going out to celebrate at home after a win at home. So that was good.”

Payton and the Broncos will be tested next Sunday at home when they face the Kansas City Chiefs. Hopefully Payton and his family will be able to celebrate another home win with sushi again.
