After a rookie card of his sold for an astronomical amount earlier this year, another one of Brady's rookie cards has sold for a world-record $2.25 million.

In early March, news surfaced of a clean Tom Brady rookie card selling for $1.32 million, which was the highest price for an NFL card at the time. However, after plenty of bids were placed for another one of his other rookie cards, it has surpassed the previous record in less than a month.

The sports trading card market has been booming during the pandemic and prices of certain players in various sports have skyrocketed. In response to Brady winning his NFL record seventh Super Bowl, the price of his rookie cards has hitten historic levels.

Seeing that Brady is still playing at a high level at 43 years old, and is showing no signs of slowing down, the prices of his rookie cards could continue to increase. If Brady goes on to win another Super Bowl or plays another five-plus years, the outlook on his rookie cards is through the roof.
