Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo came into Game 6 of the NBA Finals to win, and Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum and the rest of the world clearly saw that.
During the game, McCollum couldn't help but express his admiration for the Bucks forward. He even called the Greek Freak a “monster” and a “1 of 1,” as Giannis showed everyone he is just a different beast ready to embrace the biggest of moments.
I don’t think we will ever see a player like Giannis again in our lifetime. He may be 1 of 1 and he a good human being. Really solid dude and a monster.

It's hard to blame CJ McCollum for feeling like that, though. After all, Giannis Antetokounmpo was absolutely terrifying against the Suns, scoring 20 points in the third quarter alone to tie the game at 77-all heading to the final quarter of Game 6.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 20 points in the third quarter. He has 37 for the game. These teams are tied at 77 heading to the fourth. Milwaukee is 12 minutes away from its first title in 50 years. Phoenix is 12 minutes away from Game 7. This should be fun.

For what it's worth, CJ McCollum has received some backlash recently for appearing to take a jab at Giannis' Finals MVP credentials. He tweeted a question asking fans how many votes Khris Middleton would get for the award since he is closing for the Bucks in games.
A lot of fans took that tweet as a direct shot at Antetokounmpo, especially since it came at a time when the major talk has been the lack of appreciation players are giving to Giannis. Even Spencer Dinwiddie was roasted for having the same take as McCollum.
Whether McCollum is making up for his recent comments on the Bucks superstar is unknown, but he isn't lying on his assessment of the Greek Freak.
