The Buffalo Bills Week 11 game sees the team welcome the Indianapolis Colts to upstate New York, site of an epic 27-24 playoff victory for the Bills over the Colts just 10 months ago. In that game, the Colts were starting future Hall of Famer Philip Rivers at quarterback — he has since moved on and is now a high school football coach in Alabama.

Currently, the Colts are starting Carson Wentz at the helm but are playing just as well as the playoff team from a year ago. Indianapolis is 5-2 in its last seven games, with both of the losses coming in overtime. The overall Bills-Colts series has the Bills leading at 38-32-1. Buffalo will certainly have its hands full as it attempts to win a second straight game after an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Buffalo Bills Week 11 predictions

4. Josh Allen will only throw one touchdown

Buffalo heads into this game second in points scored per game (31.1), first in points allowed per game (15), and — obviously — first in point differential (+145). However, the Bulls can only take what the defense is giving them, or else they will be forced into mistakes — see the Jacksonville loss.

So, with the Colts being equally below average against both the pass AND against the run, it will be up to quarterback Josh Allen to navigate those waters. If that means running the ball with his backs or keeping it himself, it may be best to keep the ball on the ground if Indianapolis plans to take away the pass. If that is the case, Allen may be hurting his fantasy stock a bit unless he can run one in.

3. Allen's only touchdown will be to Isaiah McKenzie

Fantasy football's favorite wide receiver “touchdown vulture” will be back again this week, this time in grand fashion. Despite reeling in an improbable five touchdowns in 2020 as a part-time player, McKenzie has yet to find paydirt in even less playing time during the 2021 season.

Well, that all changes this week when Mckenzie catches a 50-yard touchdown pass from Allen to ignite the Bills' offense in the first quarter. Although it is the only touchdown Allen throws all game, it puts the thought into the Colts' heads and keeps the boxes light for Zack Moss, Devin Singletary, and Allen to run wild. Despite the running game and big play from McKenzie, our next prediction is that…

2. The Bills will not cover the 7-point spread

The Colts have been able to hang with just about any opponent they have gone against in 2021, including a close loss to the Rams in September. The Bills are their toughest test yet, however, and they are going to relish the opportunity to show what they are capable of. With Buffalo moving the ball throughout the game, it will be up to the Colts' offense to match them play for play.

We are predicting they do just that, and keep this game close until the end. The Colts might have the best running back in the league in Jonathan Taylor, and they will also be able to move the ball through the air with T.Y> Hilton and Michael Pittman. However, with a four-point lead and seven minutes remaining on the clock, Wentz will drop back to pass and…

1. Buffalo's defense will score the winning touchdown

Wentz, making his only mistake of the game, throws an interception returned for a touchdown. The final in Buffalo will be Bills 27, Colts 24. Sound familiar? Well, if it does, it is because that is the same exact score from the playoff game between these two teams in January. Fate has a way of working itself into the beautiful fabric of football, and even though the Colts are riding into town with a new sheriff, the end result will probably be the same.

Despite the outstanding play over the past two months, the Colts will drop to 5-6 and the Bills will improve to 7-3. With both of these teams having a division opponent either ahead of them (Tennessee Titans for the Colts) or a half-game behind them (New England Patriots for the Bills), neither can really afford to lose any ground with a loss here. That makes for an exciting one in Buffalo, so tune in at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday!
