From a very young age, Clark's potential was evident, especially from her father who also served as her first basketball coach. To test how good she really was, he used an unconventional strategy to hone her skills by signing her up to play on the boys' basketball teams.

As unusual as it may seem, it clearly hasn't stopped her from making an impact on the basketball court. Of all the four different flavors available, Clark's favorite flavor is apple.

Clark's boyfriend is currently in the NBA.

Connor McCaffery is a former basketball player at Iowa who spent four years with the Hawkeyes as a role player. He didn't get drafted by any NBA team in the 2022 NBA draft, but he did pick up a role as an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers.

While she mostly likes to keep her personal life private, Caitlin Clark does post on her Instagram here and there about the special man in her life and the two officially became a couple in 2023.
