While it's known that Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are friends, the former revealed that the “Shake It Off” singer wrote a song about them over a decade ago that still hasn't been released.
During an appearance on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Gomez discussed Swift's song she wrote about them. It was called “Friends,” and for one reason or another, it still hasn't been released over a decade later.
“There's this song that Taylor wrote about us, and it was called ‘Family,'” Gomez revealed. “It was [easily] over a decade ago. Insinuating the lyrics without quoting [them], it is basically saying you have these amazing dreams, you want to be in movies, [and] in every crowd, I still see you.
“And then her part was, you know, you believe in my stupid dreams, like playing stadiums, and now when I listen to that song, both of those things have happened for us. And that's really sweet, because back then, she was just like, ‘I just wrote this song about us, and it was just like our story,' and it was just the sweetest thing, so I love it,” Gomez emotionally continued.
Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift's friendship

Gomez and Swift's relationship dates back years. They are frequently seen together, and it appears Swift even wrote a song about their friendship.
Their relationship began as they were dating two of the Jonas Brothers. Gomez was dating Nick, while Swift was dating Joe. Now, they are married or engaged to even bigger celebrities.
Gomez even reacted to Swift's engagement to Travis Kelce. She took to her Instagram Stories to write, “When bestie gets engaged,” to celebrate the news.
Over the years, their friendship has endured. Hopefully, fans can hear Swift's song written about their relationship in the future. Swift sometimes releases songs from the vault, and this would be a great one to uncover. In the same interview, Gomez did say that “Dorothea” was about her, so at least she has that one written about her.
