As U2 is on their brief break from shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Bono has made a huge decision.
Finding what he's looking for in Hollywood
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Bono is an investor in a giant new project in the Hollywood Hills. This home, which is being designed by Noah Walker and developed by Plus Development Group, features a triangular shape, guest house, and a pool.
A neighbor of the Hollywood Hills residence noted that Bono has been seen checking out the house's progress.
This comes shortly after Bono and The Edge sold the Clarence Hotel in Dublin. It appears U2's frontman isn't done with his real estate moves.
U2 is currently playing a residency at the newly opened Sphere in Las Vegas. The residency, titled U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere commemorates the band's hit 1991 album, Achtung Baby, by playing it in full for the first time. They are the inaugural act to play the venue, as the venue attempts to find its next act.
As the frontman of U2, Bono has helped write and record countless hits. As a group, they have won numerous awards across their 15 studio albums.
Earlier this year, the band closed out their most recent era with Songs of Surrender. This followed Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, titled after William Blake's collection of poems. Songs of Surrender was a collection of 40 songs from their back catalog that were reworked and re-recorded.
Bono also released his memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, last fall and embarked on a solo tour.
