Los Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr was carted off the field on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs after he tried to catch a pass from Justin Herbert and smashed his head extremely hard on the ground. Despite losing consciousness for a short period of time, Parham was diagnosed with a concussion and avoided any serious injury.
On Friday, he took to social media and let Chargers fans know that he's doing just fine:

It's unknown when Parham could potentially return to the team, but the fact that he's feeling good is promising in itself. He spent Thursday night at the UCLA hospital but Parham is expected to be discharged on Friday.
It was a frightening scene for his Chargers teammates because it looked like he couldn't move his arm for a moment. Whenever a player is stretchered off the field, it raises concerns, especially since he was shaking as well.
LA went on to put up a very respectable fight against the Chiefs, eventually losing 34-28 in OT thanks to the heroics of Travis Kelce. Although the Chargers didn't fulfill the ultimate goal, they'll be happy to know Parham is in good spirits and ready to get on the road to recovery.
