Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is getting the role of a lifetime, as the star defensive player is scheduled to make a cameo appearance on an upcoming episode of Game Of Thrones during its final season.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Bosa’s part is unknown at the moment, but he won’t be the first celebrity to get a cameo in the show.

Last season, artist Ed Sheeran made an appearance on the show, singing around a campfire, and even New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard has made it to the show, getting to show off his form by throwing a spear.

While production for the highly anticipated final season ended in July 2018, it’s unclear exactly when Bosa filmed his cameo. Bosa missed all of his preseason with a foot injury, and he didn’t make an on-field appearance until Week 11, so he certainly would have had some time to get in front of the camera.

Fans of Bosa and Game of Thrones won’t have long to wait, as the show makes its much-hyped return in just two weeks.

Since its debut in 2011, the show has quickly become one of the most loved and best shows in television history, and has invaded NFL locker rooms, with many players, coaches, and fans all becoming huge followers.

For the Chargers, they'll likely be hoping that their upcoming season is as much of a hit as Game of Thrones, as the team is looking to bounce back after a disappointing playoff loss to the New England Patriots and return to win a competitive AFC West.
