The stage is now set for a monumental clash between Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the right to be called Super Bowl LV champions. Shortly after Mahomes helped the Chiefs dispose of AFC rivals Buffalo Bills, the reigning NFL MVP posted a short tweet as they get ready to face the Buccs at Raymond James Stadium next week.

The 25-year-old superstar quarterback also addressed his upcoming clash with arguably the greatest player in NFL history, Tom Brady.

“To go up against one of the greatest, if not the greatest quarterback of all-time in his 150th Super Bowl is gonna be a great experience,” Mahomes said of Brady post-game.

Obviously, there's no shortage of storylines for the final NFL game of this season. But perhaps the best one is the head-to-head between the best passer in the game today against arguably the best passer of all time on the grandest stage. Mahomes and Brady have gone 2-2 so far in their first four encounters. Super Bowl LV gives them an opportunity to break that tie.

Their first four encounters have been competitive contests so far, with no more than a one-score margin. The younger Mahomes has the cumulative advantage in states during those four meetings, notching a  65.4 completion percentage, 348.8 yards per game while throwing for 11 touchdowns and three interceptions. Brady, on the other hand, wasn't that far behind, completing 63.3% of his passes while averaging 300.5 yards and throwing six touchdowns and five interceptions.
