Baylor was upset by Oklahoma State two games ago but bounced back with a win over West Virginia. The Bears are the No. 5 team in the country with a 16-2 record. They are 4-2 in the conference which puts them in third in the Big-12. As for Oklahoma, it's been a rollercoaster of a season for them. They are 12-6 on the year which is pretty good but are 2-4 in the conference which puts them 10th overall. They are coming off a three-point loss to No. 7 Kansas last time out. This has the makings of an entertaining game.

Why Baylor Could Cover The Spread
Baylor is very capable of covering this spread. They are the former top team in the nation so it makes sense that they are favored on the road here. Baylor has a 20-point scoring differential on the season as they actually just fell under 80 points per game on average. They allow just 60 points per game which is very good. It's going to take their defensive efforts to escape with a win today. Oklahoma is not playing very well right now, but anything can happen over the course of an NCAA game.
Baylor needs to improve their defense a little because they are keeping games a little too close. They also need to score more points because they have scored under 80 in their last four games. This is one of the top teams in the country and they will need to play like it on Saturday because Oklahoma has proven they can compete with anyone.
Why Oklahoma Could Cover The Spread
The Sooners have lost their last three games in a row. All were too solid teams with two of them being ranked, but they just flat out played badly. They failed to reach 60 points in two of their three losses and only 64 in the loss to Kansas last time out. They need to find a way to score more points. Tanner Groves leads the team in scoring at 12.8 points per game. He alongside Umoja Gibson and Elijah Harkless need to step up and get into a rhythm. Those three are the top options but haven't been on their game lately. If they can shut down the Baylor offense then they should be able to keep it close.
They are at home, where they are 8-2 on the season. Baylor is 4-0 on the road so this will be a tough game for them to cover. They must play their absolute best on Saturday to cover this spread.
