The highly-anticipated battle between the Los Angeles Rams and Indianapolis Colts featured a massive amount of talent. One of the biggest matchups was a pair of All-Pros, Quenton Nelson and Aaron Donald. The Rams walked away with a victory in a thrilling matchup, but there was no shortage of excitement in the game.

After the game, Quenton Nelson spoke highly of Aaron Donald after the Colts came up just short of the victory, according to Stephen Holder of The Athletic.

“It was an honor to play against the best player in the NFL. I knew on every play I had to be at my best to even win a rep.”

Seems about right. The Colts young star got honest, and rightfully so, as Donald is perhaps the best defender in the NFL, and arguably one of the best players in the NFL on either side of the ball.

The Rams kicked a field goal with 2:23 left to seal the deal after Carson Wentz left the game for the Colts with an injury, something to watch for over the next few days for Indianapolis.

So, a star-studded matchup was nothing short of excitement, and the Rams continue their impressive start to the year while the Colts will wait to see what happens with Carson Wentz.
