Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys ended up on top of the NFC East division when it was all said and done in the 2023 NFL regular season. But while a division title looks like a nice addition to the long list of the Cowboys' franchise achievements, Prescott knows what the true mission is for Dallas. After being seen not wearing an NFC East Champions cap at the end of the Cowboys' 38-10 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Prescott said that he and his team are going after a bigger fish (h/t Jess Nevarez of Pro Football Network).

“In Dak Prescott's post-game interview with @ErinAndrews he wasn't wearing an NFC East Champs hat, she asked where his hat was. His response: ‘We want something bigger than that.'”

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce what Prescott was saying. The Cowboys want nothing less this season than to win the Super Bowl and have a Super Bowl parade back in Dallas again. Of course, winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy is always going to be easier said than done, but Prescott also believes that his team has what it takes to go all the way.

The Cowboys recovered just in time for the playoffs. After losing back-to-back to the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins in Weeks 15 and 16, Dallas defeated the Detroit Lions and the Commanders to close out the regular season with a 12-5 record.

Up next for Dallas is a Wild Card showdown in Arlington versus Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers on Jan. 14.
