Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had arguably his most successful season in the NFL this year, throwing for 36 touchdowns, nine interceptions and 4,516 yards. However, over the course of this strong season, it is easy to forget that just a year ago Dak Prescott was catching heat for throwing 15 interceptions, and he was getting laughed at for some comments he made over the summer.

“I know who I am, and you can go back and take away half of those off drops,” Prescott said over the summer regarding his 15 interceptions in 2022, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. “I'm not saying it's on the receiver, but if you cut that in half then we start talking about those, nobody is talking about it. … Some of it is the offense and them understanding exactly where we are. Mike does an amazing job with those guys. They know where to be, why to be, when they're getting looked at. That's going to be a big jump. I won't have 10 interceptions this year.”

Prescott delivered on that promise for the Cowboys, throwing nine this season, and leading the team to the NFC East title and the No. 2 seed in the conference. Dallas is hoping to make a run in the playoffs, and this might be one of the best chances the Cowboys have in recent years. They will start off with a home wild card game against the Green Bay Packers next weekend. If they win that, it would be another home game with a trip to the NFC Championship game on the line, a game the Cowboys have not been to since 1996.
