Robert Quinn was traded to the Dallas Cowboys from the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason, but the defensive lineman had the opportunity to pick between the Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints, and he chose Dallas.

So, obviously, Quinn must have pretty high expectations for the Cowboys heading into 2019, and the veteran has said as much in training camp.

“I think I can go through every position there’s either an All-Pro or Pro Bowler there from what they did in the past. So that speaks on itself alone,” Quinn said of the Cowboys, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “If guys can individually continue to put up those All-Pro type seasons, collectively as a team, I think that just kind of speaks for itself. The O-line gets a lot of credit here, the offense. But you look around, you’ve got Byron Jones, Leighton [Vander Esch], DeMarcus [Lawrence], we have talent everywhere. Now it’s just going out and proving it each and every day, because you can’t live off last year’s history. That’s gone.”

There is no question that Dallas is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball; it's just a matter of the team putting it all together.

This past season, the Cowboys won 10 games and captured the NFC East division title. They then went on to defeat the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs in what was just their third postseason win since 1997 before falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round the following week.

Of course, the Ezekiel Elliott holdout is casting a rather ominous cloud over training camp, but so long as Dallas gets things resolved with its running back, it should have a chance of making a deep playoff run this coming season.

Quinn registered 38 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and a couple of forced fumbles during his final year with the Dolphins.
