Just over a year after the Miami Dolphins pulled the trigger on acquiring Josh Rosen from the Arizona Cardinals via trade, it appears that the former top-10 pick could be on the move again.

According to Mike Giardi of the NFL Network, the Dolphins have received trade calls from teams looking to acquire the third-year quarterback this offseason. However, as Giardi points out, Miami seems to be in no hurry to trade away the former UCLA star.

If Rosen does end up staying in Miami, he will have to battle for the starting job once again against veteran signal-caller Ryan Fitzpatrick who led the team in both passing and rushing last season. Things became even more difficult for Rosen this offseason when the Dolphins drafted Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa fifth overall in the recent NFL Draft as he is expected to be the future of the franchise.

Rosen did appear in six games for the Dolphins last season, making three starts. However, Rosen was less than impressive in the opportunity he was given as he would go 0-3 as the team's starter while completing 53.2 percent of his passes for just 567 yards, one touchdown, and five interceptions while also being sacked 16 times.

And while Fitzpatrick didn't exactly light up scoreboards, he was serviceable as the starter and apparently expects to start next season. As a result, it's not surprising that teams have tried to inquire about Rosen's ability as he was once seen as arguably the best quarterback in the 2018 draft class.
