The Philadelphia Eagles did not have a good Week 2 of the 2021 NFL Season. They lost to the San Francisco 49ers as both offenses hit a wall. On top of that, the Eagles have now lost Brandon Graha, for the entire season after he suffered a torn Achilles, according to Jeff McLane and Derrick Gunn.
Can confirm the same about Brandon Graham, per NFL source. Not a surprise considering how the injury occurred.
Brutal loss for the #Eagles. BG is the team’s heart and soul, not to mention still one of their best defenders. https://t.co/KWaKKbz6OO

This is a devastating blow for the Eagles, both on the field and off the field as Graham is clearly one of their most important presences in the locker room as well.
Graham had to be carted off on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers and was clapping with the fans, but clearly this is not the injury news that he and the Eagles faithful were hoping for.

A tough Week 2 loss all around as the Eagles offense couldn't get going, and now Graham is out for the remainder of the 2021 campaign. Next up for the Eagles is a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in what could be a huge NFC East battle as both of these teams have realistic hopes of stealing a playoff spot.
Hopefully Graham can recover and be ready for the 2022 season, but this is an absolutely brutal loss for Nick Sirianni's team.
