The Philadelphia Eagles fell short in their repeat campaign during the 2018 NFL season. The team played well even without star quarterback Carson Wentz who was dealing with more injury issues, but now he's ready to take the helm once again.

Nick Foles is now set to play under center for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the pressure is off Wentz somewhat to take over and get back to form as one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. While Wentz is preparing for the workload of a full season, the Eagles star wants to get on the same page with some of his receivers for the upcoming 2019 campaign.

Wentz will host some of the team's receivers for a retreat with the following names confirmed, according to 24/7 Sports, to be in attendance to get to work with the team's leader under center. This year Wentz and the receivers listed below will be traveling to Houston, Texas to get some extra work in ahead of the 2019 NFL season.

Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson, Greg Ward, and Dallas Goedert

Along with these five players, Wentz will have plenty of weapons at his disposal this year. DeSean Jackson is making his triumphant return to Philly to join forces with fellow star wideout Alshon Jeffery and tight end Zach Ertz.

After signing a lucrative contract extension with the Eagles this NFL offseason, Wentz has an opportunity to take his game and the team to another level in 2019. Philadelphia will definitely have competition in the NFC, but they have a chance to be a contender once again.
