Although the Philadelphia Eagles may have come up short in the postseason, they can take solace in the fact that one of their own managed to get the job done. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has emerged victorious over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54.

This is certainly a classy move from Philadelphia. after all, both sides have come a long way since the heartbreak that came during their tenure together.
Andy Reid had done a stellar job of turning the Eagles into a bonafide championship contender. Despite seeing as a fixture in the NFC playoffs on a yearly basis, they simply could not get over the humbugs that lied ahead of them in the title games. As a result, the team ultimately opted to usher in a new era by parting ways.
It did not take long for Philadelphia to turn their fortunes around. Following a failed stint under head coach Chip Kelly, head coach Doug Pederson ultimately proved to be the right man for the job by leading them to an unlikely Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots in his first season.
Meanwhile, Reid was seemingly left on the outside looking in after joining a Chiefs team that faced similar struggles getting over the hump in the playoffs. Fortunately, the emergence of quarterback Patrick Mahomes has helped kickstart. potential dynasty for years to come. Mahomes' first act is ending the dry spell for Reid.
