Paramount Pictures' forthcoming sci-fi horror prequel, ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,' has undergone yet another shift in its release date.
The Hollywood Reporter disclosed that the film will hit theaters on June 28, 2024, instead of the initial release date of March 8, 2024.

At first, it forms part of Paramount's film slate alongside Killers of the Flower Moon, Bob Marley, John Krasinski’s If, and Dear Santa with Jack Black. Now, tt takes the spot previously occupied by ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2.' This change follows prior delays from its original release dates in March 2023 and September 2023.
However, Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish assured fans that the film production already wrapped up in London before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Despite not directing the film, franchise creator John Krasinski serves as a producer and receives a story credit. This prequel contributes to the A Quiet Place franchise's successful global box office earnings, surpassing $638 million. Paramount Pictures is also working on ‘A Quiet Place Part III,‘ scheduled for a 2025 theatrical release, with Krasinski expected to maintain creative involvement.
As the A Quiet Place release date moved to June 28, 2024, fans are both disappointed and excited for another installment.
