Theo James is set to star opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the upcoming heist movie Fuze, Deadline reported.
The film, which will start production at beginning of July, will be directed by David Mackenzie from Ben Hopkins' script.
Fuze follows the story of the discovery an unexploded World War II ordnance at a London construction site. This causes a mass evacuation which also makes the perfect cover for a heist.
The movie is produced by Sigma Films' Gillian Berrie and Anton's Sebastien Raybaud and Callum Grant. Anton is set to fully finance the film.
Primetime Emmy nominee James was recently heard in Marvel's X-Men '97 as the voice of the supervillain Bastion and the Sentinels. He was last seen in Guy Ritchie's Netflix series The Gentlemen. He earned his Emmy nomination in 2023 for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for the second season of HBO | Max's White Lotus.
The actor will next be seen in Stephen King's The Monkey, which has been sold to Neon at the Cannes Film Festival Marche du Film. James is popularly known for portraying Tobias “Four” Eaton in the Divergent film trilogy, based on the sci-fi YA novel series by Veronica Roth.

Unexploded ordnance, or sometimes abbreviated as UXO or UO, are explosive weapons that didn't explode when they were employed. These pose a risk of detonation, sometimes decades after they have been used or discarded. When unwanted munitions are found, especially in populated areas, they evacuate the location first and then destroy the explosives in a controlled detonation.
In the UK, most of the current UXO risk is limited to cities such as London, Sheffield and Portsmouth, areas heavily bombed during the Blitz by the Germans. According to the CIRIA, the Construction Industry Research and Information Association, between 2006 and 2009, there were 15,000 ordnance items found in construction sites in the UK.
In 2007, over 1,000 residents were evacuated in Plymouth when a WWII bomb was discovered. A year later, a 1,000-kilogram (2,200 lbs) bomb was found in East London. And early this year, a 500-kg (1,100lb) WWII bomb was found in a residence's garden in Keyham, Pleymouth. This prompted a massive evacuation, one of the largest in the UK since WWII, with more than 10,000 residents evacuated. Four days later, the bomb was taken out to sea and detonated.
