Veteran Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is set to make his 2019 preseason debut in Thursday's tilt against the New York Jets.
Ryan, 34, is entering his 12th season in the NFL—all with the Falcons—and was absent from the team's on-field activities the last two weeks in exhibition losses to the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins.
Although the former NFL MVP is not expected to play much against the Jets, it's the first preseason appearance from Ryan since 2018.
