Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury are the top fighters in their sports and the idea of a cross-over fight is starting to feel like it could become a reality in the near future. The Cameroonian recently expressed his desire to jump in the boxing ring and battle either Fury or Deontay Wilder. The Englishman responded to those comments and also voiced that he'd be interested in it as well. He's even willing to go by some MMA rules, too.

Of course, Francis Ngannou is used to fighting with the 4oz gloves, not the traditional 10oz boxing gloves. But, Fury is down to try it and he even tagged UFC president Dana White. Ngannou responded to Fury though and said he's prepared to fight with boxing gloves but by MMA rules.

Both guys are certainly going to be busy in 2022, though. Ngannou is getting ready to clash with Ciryl Gane in UFC 270 as he looks to defend his heavyweight title. However, this is the final fight on Ngannou's contract with the organization and if he loses, Ngannou would technically be a restricted free agent. But if he does win, the champion would remain with the UFC.
As for Fury, he is set to fight title-challenger Dillian Whyte, but it's unknown when and where that would happen at this point. Nonetheless, this possible Francis Ngannou-Tyson Fury bout is something to keep an eye on.
