Biomutant captivated fans in spite of its many flaws, and its creators still take good care of the title. Rewarding the loyal fans who stuck with them even through tough times, the folks at Experiment 101 released a big update recently. This new update increased the shelf life of the game, adding more replayability by introducing a harder difficulty. It also had something in store for those who already completed the game: A New Game+ Mode. But how do you access this game mode?

How to Start a New Game+ in Biomutant

Starting a New Game+ Save File in Biomutant is fairly straightforward. The first thing you have to do is finish the game. After watching the credits roll, you will be given the chance to start a New Game+ run immediately. If you, for some reason, missed this cue, you can always start a New Game+ Run by loading the completed game file. Once you do, you'll find yourself again near the Tree of Life. You get to keep your gear, your level, Psi Powers, resistances, and Biogenetic Mutations. However, any rewards from quest lines will be reset.

Retaining your progression in a New Game + mode will make it easier for you to check out the game's second ending. There are only two endings in Biomutant: The Good Ending and the Bad Ending. The Good Ending, you get by siding with the Light side clans at the start of your journey. You get the opposite if you join any of the other three clans. Add to this the quality-of-life improvements introduced in the recent update, completing a second run of Biomutant will be a piece of cake for you in New Game+.
