It has been a little over a week since Ramzes666 was moved to an Inactive position, however Evil Geniuses has announced already who will be taking up the new vacancy. Dota 2 veteran Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang joins the NA squad. Iceiceice has been consistent Offlaner and Carry in the Dota 2 scene. Will he be the key to EG's future success?

The Singaporean star most recently played for Fnatic from 2018 up to September of this year. He has experienced modest successes with the Southeast Asian squad up until his recent departure. Iceiceice's most recent grand showing in a tournament was a championship win in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 when he still played under Mineski. Currently, he holds the record of having two fourth-place The International finishes. This is the current state of the EG Dota 2 roster with the addition of iceiceice. He was previously an inactive player after being benched by Fnatic.
Current Evil Geniuses Dota 2 Roster
- Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
- Abed “Abed” Yusop
- Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang
- Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
- Tal “Fly” Aizik
EG already has a SEA superstar gracing their ranks in their Carry Abed. Iceiceice transferring to an NA squad is not uncommon in Dota 2. His skills will be a definite boon to the ailing Evil Geniuses lineup. Unfortunately, it is unclear if EG intends to make more changes to their lineup before returning to active competition. EG Carry Artour “Arteezy” Babaev reacted to the new roster positively coupled with an old photo of him and his new teammate.

The very nature of Dota 2 in the first place invites the possibility of having diverse lineups. Additionally, iceiceice is no stranger to having to communicate with teammates from different countries. Evil Genuises will have no problem flexing their brand new lineup particularly when they return to competing.
