We've covered a lot of leaks and rumors on Genshin Impact version 1.6. Finally, we're getting confirmation on some of them, if not all, this Friday. The Genshin Impact Version 1.6 Livestream reveal will be coming this 9 AM PDT on Friday, May 28, 2021. What can we expect from the Version 1.6 Special Program? We'd really have to wait for it to arrive to know for sure. But for now, let's review every bit of leaks we've covered so far.

Dendro and Inazuma
Version 1.6 may be the earliest time we'll get to the new nation next in the list for Genshin Impact‘s Traveler Guide. Yes, we might finally set foot in Inazuma this next update. Some promotional images have already shown Inazuma in previous official announcements. Hence, it's reasonable to expect news about the next location from the Special Program. Meanwhile, there are also rumors that a Dendro character will finally be introduced in this patch. Now, this one's less sure, but we'll just have to find out on Friday, don't we?
Genshin Impact Archon Quest to feature Beidou
Speaking of Inazuma, it seems like the way our main character will reach the new region is through the help of Beidou. According to rumors, Beidou will be smuggling the main character to Inazuma in one of the Archon Quests. It also seems like Beidou will be holding a fighting tournament in Inazuma, but we don't know yet what that means for the bigger Genshin Impact picture.
Klee and Jean Re-Runs, and Kazuha Debut Banners
We've reported on rumors that Klee will be coming back through Genshin Impact version 1.6. Her re-run banner was skipped in the recent re-runs featuring other 5-Stars like Zhongli and Childe. Klee's re-run banner is very likely to come true. Meanwhile, an unconfirmed rumor threw in a Jean Re-Run banner as well, but it's unlikely that we're going to get three different Character Event Wish Banners in a single update. Therefore, Jean might not come back in a new banner, but an entirely different event might feature her and her sister Barbara. More on that later.
Finally, a new Genshin Impact character will likely make their debut in Version 1.6. Kazuha, a 5-Star sword user from Inazuma, will feature prominently in the Special Program, we're sure. His skillsets, background, and other details will surely be discussed during the Special Program, so be sure to tune in if ever you're planning to get him.

Jean and Barbara Summer Outfits
While we're skeptical that Jean will feature in a re-run banner just yet in Version 1.6, there's more to come anyway for her and her sister Barbara. The head of the Knights Favonius will soon get an outfit change, sporting a beach outfit that puts her in a much more casual look. Barbara will get her own swimwear as well, which totally fits her Hydro character.
We're not yet totally sure how these additional outfits will feature in the game. Will they be permanent fixtures or just event-based? Will you be able to switch between outfits? Will you have to purchase these outfits with primogems? Do you actually need to get them from the game's Gacha system? We hope not, but we won't know for sure until more details emerge from official sources.
More Player Housing Options in Genshin Impact Version 1.6
Finally, we're getting more content for what could be Genshin Impact‘s most innovative feature yet in the most recent update. In Version 1.5, we got the housing system implemented. What's more, instead of just being a simple house decoration feature, Genshin Impact‘s housing system actually is a very deep gameplay feature. There's a lot to explore, collect, and accomplish with the Housing System.
In Version 1.6, we expect to hear more news on how miHoYo will be taking the Housing System to the next level. We're sure that there will be new content, like furniture. But it would be cool if miHoYo can continue surprising us with new content and features.
