Five new wrestlers and one manager are coming this Wednesday to WWE 2K24, including Post Malone and Honky Tonk Man. Here's everything you need to know about the second WWE 2K24 DLC Post Malone and Friends Pack.

Post Malone and Friends Pack Release Date: June 26, 2024

The WWE 2K24 DLC Post Malone and Friends Pack is the second DLC Pack as part of this year's Season Pass. The Post Malone and Friends Pack will be released on June 26, 2024, and will be available for purchase on all platforms the game is available in: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X.

The new DLC will add five new playable characters and one new manager to the game:

  • Post Malone – 69 OVR | Technician | Cruiserweight
  • Honky Tonk Man – 81 OVR | Technician | Heavyweight
  • Sensational Sherri – 80 OVR | Striker | Light Heavyweight
  • Mosh – 76 OVR | Striker | Heavyweight
  • Thrasher – 76 OVR | Striker | Heavyweight
  • Jimmy Hart (Manager) – 72 OVR

The DLC Pack also adds the following MyFACTION Cards to your collection:

  • 80 OVR Headbanger Mosh
  • 80 OVR Headbanger Thrasher
  • Amethyst Jimmy Hart (Manager)

The DLC pack comes with the game's Season Pass. The Season Pass gives players access to five post-launch DLCs and retails at $39.99 or comes with either the Deluxe Edition or the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition of the game. Players can purchase the pack on its own for only $9.99.

These five new wrestlers join the game's already extensive roster of playable characters, making this entry to the series the most packed in the history of WWE games. A new content update is expected to arrive alongside this DLC Pack. If the previous DLC content update is used as a reference, this content update has the potential to be huge.

Fans also noted that during the trailer of the Post Malone and Friends Pack, you can see wrestlers using Jimmy Hart's microphone as a weapon. Similar to the ECW Punk Pack, this new DLC might arrive with new available weapons as well, on top of other new content like updated move sets, entrance themes, and motions.

Debuts and Returns in the latest WWE 2K24 DLC Pack

Honky Tonk Man returns to mainline WWE 2K games for the first time since his last appearance in WWE 2K16. Similarly, Sensational Sherri makes her return since WWE 2K16 but appears in a WWE 2K game for the first time as a wrestler instead of as a manager. Speaking of managers, Jimmy Hart makes his return as a manager in the game for the first time, again, since WWE 2K16.

All three wrestlers have been consistent in appearing in WWE spin-off games, like SuperCard and WWE: Champions. However, it's surprising that they haven't made as many appearances as other wrestlers in WWE 2K games. That changes with this DLC, however, as Visual Concepts brings them back to the fold and let fans play as them in their simulated matches.

As for debuts happening in this DLC pack, Post Malone will be making his debut in a WWE 2K game alongside the Legends and one-time WWE tag team champions Headbanger Mosh and Headbanger Thrasher. These wrestlers will also debut alongside MyFACTION cards that can be used in the game mode.

WWE 2K24 is currently out now on PC through Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X. The game currently has an 81 Metascore at Metacritic, and our WWE 2K24 review scored the game a 9/10.
