PUBG's Mobile port continued to evolve beyond the limitations and scope of the PC version. Music-based abilities found their way to the battle royale recently that effectively offered a brand new experience for all players. Many continue to ponder the impending changes the game will receive once PUBG: New State releases.

New State is the sequel to PUBG Mobile set in the year 2051. Players will have an endless amount of futuristic weapons and new game mechanics. The new game will also finally include in-game weapon customizations. Additionally, drones, breakable windows, interactable objects, and new environments will change the world of mobile battle royales forever.

PUBG clearly found its home on the mobile platform. The original PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds began on PC but was soon outshined by newcomers to the genre. The overwhelming popularity of games like Fortnite and APEX Legends naturally drove PUBG to reconsider its position despite being the game that started the movement. Fortunately, the original battle royale transitioned well into the mobile space and now over 1 Billion players enjoy trying to get chicken dinners on their phones.
