Despite the world coming down around him, New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo claims he has no regrets over benching quarterback Eli Manning.

Sure thing, Ben. In fact, I have no regrets over not winning a billion dollars.

We know Ben McAdoo has no second thoughts in regards to the benching, as he told reporters that on Friday.

Then again, there really isn't a great history behind Big Bad Ben that suggests his judgement is all that awesome to begin with. We can question his sincerity over meaning what he says all we want, but it doesn't change the fact that, if he is telling the truth, it doesn't mean all that much given it is him.

Eli Manning will see his consecutive starts at QB streak come to an end this season. Geno Smith, a former hyped NFL Draft pick, will play in his place.

The second-year head coach also said that he and co-owner John Mara were “on the same page” regarding the way the situation was handled. That's a bit of an LOL-situation. It actually conflicts with the explanation from Mara, who seemed to pin how badly the situation was handled on Big Bad Ben.

Nevertheless, McAdoo is likely gone the way of the dinosaurs when the season is over. The bigger question is, or will be, about if Eli Manning's time with the franchise has run its course. Giants fans must be sick in their bellies.
