The New York Giants started the year 0-2 and decided to make a switch at quarterback. They benched veteran and future Hall of Famer Eli Manning in favor of the rookie, Daniel Jones.

This proved to be the right choice, at least for one week. Jones led the Giants to a comeback victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Giants found themselves down 12-3 early in the second quarter. That's when Jones decided to fire up his teammates. He did so with some choice words that surprised his teammates. Then he backed those words up.

Jones isn't the potty-mouth of the locker room. Therefore, hearing him curse was a surprise to his team. It's something that will get them excited though – clearly, their quarterback was into it.

Then Jones called his own number and ran the ball into the end zone for their first touchdown of the game and the first rushing touchdown (or touchdown of any kind) of his career.

Naturally, this only got the Giants even more fired up. Their quarterback threw out some choice words then ran the ball in for a touchdown. Seriously, that will fire up anyone.

The Giants went on to come back from another deficit. That touchdown made the score 12-10, but the Buccaneers went on a run then. Soon they were up 28-10 over the Giants. The rookie didn't panic, though.

Jones ended the game with two touchdown passes, and two touchdown runs and his team took their first W of the year with a 32-31 victory.

The Giants are now 1-2, and their new quarterback looks ready to put them on the map. He's ready to fire up his teammates too.
