The New York Giants provided injury updates on WR Wan'Dale Robinson and TE Darren Waller ahead of their Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Robinson is listed as doubtful with a knee injury, while Waller is questionable due to a hamstring injury, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The Giants-Cowboys affair projects to be competitive. If both Waller and Robinson end up missing the game though, Dallas will be in the driver's seat.

Giants: Waller questionable, Robinson doubtful

The Giants have high expectations for both players. Waller was acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders during the offseason and has established himself as one of the best tight ends in the NFL. Giants fans are excited to see him play during the 2023 season.

Injury concerns have been problematic for Waller in recent seasons though. He was limited to only nine games in 2022, and played in 11 during the 2021 season. His last full campaign came in 2020, when he made his first and only Pro Bowl team with the Raiders.

If Waller can fight through his hamstring injury and stay healthy in 2023, he could get selected to another Pro Bowl team.

Meanwhile, Robinson made his NFL debut in 2022 with the Giants. He appeared in only six games, however. That said, New York believes in his ability and he will factor into the offense this season if he can stay on the field.

New York features a talented roster. Health will be of the utmost importance though. We will continue to monitor and provide updates on the Giants as they are made available.
