The New York Giants made the easy decision to fire offensive coordinator Jason Garrett on Tuesday following an embarrassing Monday Night Football performance from the offense.

Just about everyone weighed in on the news, but former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's response was the most brutal of all. Bryant tweeted out his reaction, and in doing so left an inspiring message for Kadarius Toney while taking a hilarious shot at Garrett.

An absolutely savage reply from Bryant, who has plenty of familiarity with Garrett from his playing days in Dallas. Garrett coached Bryant from 2011-2018, and it's clear that Dez doesn't think too highly of his former skipper. Bryant's tenure in Dallas had many highs and many lows, and it seems he thinks Garrett is responsible for some of those valleys.

Many people feel that Toney's offensive skill set was going to waste under Garrett's system, and Dez is clearly one of them. With the offensive coordinator out of town, and Freddie Kitchens set to replace him, Toney will get the chance to blossom and develop a better rapport with Daniel Jones during the latter half of the season.

The Florida product was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft as the 20th overall pick. Thus far into his NFL career, he's struggled to find his footing. Toney has 35 receptions for 392 yards and zero touchdowns on the year, so hopefully Kitchens can devise some plays to get the rookie in the end zone for the first time.
