Dave Gettleman doesn't cut a positive figure among New York Giants fans. It's dubious people already forgot the way he handled the Odell Beckham trade in the offseason. Now, more dirty laundry ended up on the surface as former safety Landon Collins called his ex-GM a liar.

He talked with NJ Advance Media's Darryl Slater and lashed out at his former general manager. Collins said in an earlier interview that he tries to handle situations such as cuts and trades with empathy to give his players “dignity.”

Collins, who now plays for the Washington Redskins, scoffed at the idea.

“No dignity at all,” Collins told NJ Advance Media. “I didn’t know what was going on. He’s a liar. He lied to everybody. So that’s a man I do not trust. I would hope nobody else would, too.”

“I never talked to Dave,” Collins said. “Never talked to him. It sat with me bad. Just talk to somebody. Let us know something. If you’re going to trade me, trade me. If you’re going to let me go, let me go. Whatever. Don’t have a decision out of blue like that, for me to do this much for that organization — before he got there.

He has continued with the Redskins the quality defense that he gave for the Giants ever since being selected in the second round by the Giants in 2015. He made 19 tackles and one TFL so far this season. It's only a matter of time before he makes another Pro Bowl at the end of the year. He was also the highest-rated Redskin during their loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Players, fans, and analysts are starting to get tired with his actions. In fact, some are already calling for his ouster. If his great Daniel Jones gamble doesn't pay off, you can expect calls for his firing to intensify.
