The New York Giants are in the middle of rebuilding their roster after beefing up the coaching staff. Things are finally looking bright for this franchise after years of adversity. With the franchise seeking to improve the roster, Joe Schoen speaks out on the trade rumors involving Saquon Barkley.
According to Zack Rosenblatt, Joe Schoen does not plan to trade star running back Saquon Barkley. Although rumors have swirled around the Giants potentially trading the former first-round pick, New York will not be trading away their running back. So with that said, the Barkley trade rumors can finally be put to rest.

This should be exciting news for Giants fans. When healthy, Saquon Barkley is one of the most talented running backs in the league. He's had a rough go the last couple of years, but if he can avoid injuries, New York's offense will receive a massive boost.
The Giants struggled with injuries throughout the season. We only saw glimpses of Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney. New York should feel pretty confident about their chances next season. Brian Daboll has the potential to be a great head coach and the team has some decent talent on the roster.
Considering the NFC East is a wide-open race, New York could surprise the league with Daboll leading the way. So, it makes sense for the Giants to keep Saquon Barkley on the team, as he could provide legitimate firepower out of the backfield.
Look for the Giants to maintain most of their roster and add unique talent through the NFL Draft. Joe Schoen should have a few tricks up his sleeves, as New York should focus on drafting the top available players at each pick.
